Provide resources, inspiration, and a helping hand in hopes that the world will be a better place: for young and old, male and female, thinkers and hand-clappers, insiders and outsiders.
JOY. Our culture celebrates fun, pleasure, or ‚“the pursuit of happiness‚” as it says in the Preamble to the U.S. Constitution. These are more a response to externals - to the circumstances that life brings us. Joy is more inside out. It bubbles up from the heart. The opening chapter of Genesis declares the joy God has invested in all creation.
HOPE. The world’s greatest source of energy.
WONDER. A child’s sense of wonder may have been a part of what Jesus was referring to when he said no one can enter into the continuing presence of God except as a child.
SIMPLICITY. Just enough is just and enough.
INCLUSIVE LANGUAGE. We are all created in God’s image, male and female. Our language can and ought to reflect that holy image. We are often offended when someone calls us something other than our own name. Should we do anything less with God?
